If you want
a sense of adventure on your next vacation, the Capilano Suspension
Bridge is Vancouver's first tourist attraction and still one of the
most popular destinations for tourists in the region. While the
suspension bridge has captivated the public for over a hundred years,
innovation is still going on. A relatively new attraction to check out
when you're visiting the Capilano Suspension Bridge is Treetops
Adventure, which has various smaller suspension bridges connecting

The Capilano
Suspension Bridge (CSB) was opened to the public in 1889. It lies 230
feet over the Capilano River and spans a distance of 450 feet. Since
it's opening, the park has attracted people from all over the world,
drawn to the natural beauty of the landscape and the ingenuity of the
suspension bridge. One or the other is fine alone, but when you
combine the breathtaking beauty of the landscape with the ability to
see it while suspended high over the scene, it's an experience that's
hard to put into words and one that even photos can't do justice.
With a very
reasonable price to get into the park, it's also a value destination.
In addition to the amazing views of the surrounding land from the
suspension bridge, there are a lot of other things to do and see at
the 27 acre park. From learning about the original inhabitants of the
land (and seeing their artifacts), to just enjoying the nature,
Capilano Suspension Bridge is a great destination that will fill the
memory in your camera and in your mind. |
